Client Spotlight – Oxford Mortgage Corporation

Each month Anchor Network Solutions will spotlight one of their many unique clients that look to us to manage their IT needs.

We will highlight best business practices, the challenges they face and why their relationship with Anchor is crucial in the running of their day-to-day business. We then give each client an opportunity to ask Anchor a question. It may be technical, personal or out in left field.

Located at 7200 S Alton Way, Centennial, CO 80112, Oxford Mortgage Corporation is a full service mortgage company, located in Colorado, serving clients statewide including re-locations from across the country.

Q. What brought you to your current role with Oxford Mortgage?

MT: Each person on our dynamic teams came to Oxford through existing relationships. We believe in hiring people with great ability and excellent character. We find employee referrals through people that we know, like and trust.

Q. What are some of the daily business challenges you face?

MT: We operated in an ever changing environment and keeping up with changes in the market, compliance and underwriting guidelines is a huge part of what we do.

Q. As a leading provider of mortgage products and services, what makes Oxford Mortgage Corporation stand out from the rest of the competition?

MT: Service, expertise and reliability.

Q. What’s an ideal client for Oxford Mortgage Corporation?

MT: We are most flattered when we get a client as a referral from a past client or a real-estate agent that trusts in our services. We enjoy working with either clients that are seeking a home loan for a purchase or are wanting to re-finance their current home loan.

Q. What do you do when you aren't working?

MT: I enjoy spending time with my family in the great outdoors of Colorado. We enjoy sporting events and try to catch a few concerts each year.

Q. Why is the relationship with Anchor crucial in the running of your day-to-day business?

MT: We have been a client of Anchor for many years. There have been many times when a computer issue has been solved by Anchor with efficiency. This has helped me focus more on my clients and our daily operations as a whole.

MT: Why are we still typing?

ANS: With tablets we are starting to see the use of touchscreen devices, but as of now voice technology isn't there yet as a replacement for keyboard input. We will probably see keyboards as an input device for some time with touch screen input becoming more prevalent as well.
