Rick Roundy comes to Anchor Network Solutions with over 25 years of experience in technology. He began as a technician for the NYNEX Business Centers, Computerland and US West MRG before moving on to enterprise networking at Cabletron Systems and Copper Mountain Networks.

A Heartfelt Farewell to Jacee!

After 11 years with Anchor, Jacee Dobbs will be moving on to take a position as CIO in the hospital in her home town of Colby, Kansas. This opportunity quite literally found Jacee rather than the other way around, and it was one that is just too good for her to pass up.

My wife of 12 years and I decided a few years ago that we wanted a change from snowless Christmases and mosquitos that bleed us dry so in June of 2014 I came out here ahead of the family to find a place to live and new job.

CryptoLocker Ransomware

There is a new computer worm that has recently surfaced; it is known as "CryptoLocker". This new ransomware encrypts files in the victim’s computer, and demands a certain ransom for decryption. This ransomware is spread using social engineering tricks via social media and email attachments.
